Singer-songwriter Prestyn Smith first gained attention busking on the pier in Seal Beach and is now performing her original music at notable venues throughout Southern California. Her soulful voice and authentic lyrics have caught the eager ears of listeners, firmly establishing her as an emerging voice in the industry.

Her sound flirts with the raw, progressive sounds of 70s female rock titans and the vibrant grunge energy of the 90s all while delivering a fresh twist of youthful perspective unique to the contemporary music scene.

Smith’s influences pull from the folky punk of Fiona Apple and the kitchen sink realism of Alex Turner to the recent experimental flair of newer artists like Olivia Rodrigo, showcasing her depth of her musical study and proficiency.

Prestyn Smith is a YoungArts Award recipient and has been awarded as the Songwriter of the Year at her performing arts school. She has been a guest on radio shows like The Tim Conway Jr Show, invited to perform at NAMM, and is the front woman for bands like The PBJ Trio and The Mox. In addition to writing and performing, Smith is a multi-instrumentalist who also produces some of her own music.
